  2.                           Using your Rescue Disk
  3.  
  4. By creating a rescue disk with either CKRESCUE.BAT from the command line, or 
  5. with the Rescue Disk menu option in CheckIt PRO: Tests & Tools, the following 
  6. files are copied to a floppy:

  26.       Drivers in CONFIG.SYS       Will vary according to system

  28. (Remember, you should use a pre-formatted diskette for the Rescue Disk
  29. process.  To make the disk bootable, the RESCUE.BAT will attempt to "SYS"
  30. the floppy disk.  If you experience a problem in this operation, use the
  31. FORMAT /S command before running the RESCUE disk program.

  34.                  Using your Rescue Disk

  40. want to partition a hard disk.........Use the FDISK program
  41. want to DOS format a hard disk........Use the FORMAT program
  42. want to backup files..................Use the BACKUP program
  43. want to restore backed up files.......Use the RESTORE program
  44. want to restore your CMOS.............Use the CKCMOS program using CKCMOS.DAT file
  45. want to Low-level format a hard disk..Use the CKLLFMT program
  46. want to view this file................Use the CKVIEW program

  48.        *  The CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files are saved with the
  49.           extension SAV.  This is done to secure a valid bootable
  50.           Rescue disk.  For example, if your hard disk or CMOS
  51.           gets corrupted, and your CONFIG.SYS is set up to
  52.           look for COMMAND.COM located on your hard disk (i.e. 
  53.           SHELL=C:\dos\command.com c:\dos\ /e:2048 /p), COMMAND.COM 
  54.           will not be found and the error listed below will be reported
  55.           and your system will lock:
